Kirks Top 5: Movies

Greetings and Salutations, my dark lovelies,

                Hello from the hospital bed of love, and I just wanted to keep you up to date on some things. How did you like Countdown? What about Sonnet Sunday’s “The House?” I thoroughly love that poem; I feel it captures some of the essence of Edgar Allan Poe in it. What do you say? So I figured that from here on out, since the vlog is on the 1st, I’ll make the last day of the month the Top Five. I’m kind of like I’m ending the month on a bang. So with that, I won’t delay. Here are the Top Fives of July.

 

Top 5: Favorite Comedies

1.      BASEketball: I utterly adore, love, and quote this movie constantly. I have a Beer’s jersey, which currently doesn’t fit me, and a Beer’s hat. I love Matt and Trey in this life action comedy. It’s pure gold and, I hear, your sister’s going out with SQUEAK!

2.      Throw Mama from the Train: When I first saw this gem when it was released, I got it the older I became. Billy Crystal’s quote, “A writer writes always,” has stuck with me, and I concur. To quote Rod Serling, “Just write.” There doesn’t have to be any guilt of stress over it. It’s supposed to be fun.

3.      Dirty Work: Ah, this gem from 1998, let us do your dirty work. I fell in love with Norm McDonald's humor over this movie. I even got my sister into it. It was lightning in a bottle, and it was one hell of a film for Norm and Chris Farley.

4.      Slap Shot: Oh hey, dear from the federal league. We’re putting on the foil for this classic. From the Hansons to Paul Newman’s timing, it was incredible to behold. It was this movie that made me like the sport of hockey.

5.      Orgazmo: Another Matt and Trey flick, what can I say, I think they’re brilliant. Where else will you get an honest Mormon who wants to share his love for Jesus with the porn industry? What can I say, this movie has it all and it will blow your mind!

Kirk's Top 5! The Double Your Pleasure Ozzy Edition

  Greetings and salutations,             It’s Kirk coming to you from the hospital bed of love, to wrap up my love for the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osborne. I was asked to do a top five of either Black Sabbath or Ozzy’s solo career, so I figured, why not do both? So, I’m going to do a double Top 5 as the Oz man deserves both. I know in my blog about him, I gave away my top song by him, but let’s focus more on that. And if you haven’t read the post, that’s fine, it will be news to you here.        Are you ready? No, I asked you a question. Are you ready? I figured out the next state of the game, besides writing it on YouTube! I'll do it twice a month, on the first and the fifteenth. That way, the first will be talking about the previous month's Tales from the `13th, and the Sunday Sonnets there. We can also answer any questions that you might have about Character Corner. I'm excited to be setting this up and pray that you find the amusement I'll be adding, as I'm naturally sarcastic.  I'm attempting to grow this at home, and with that, I need your help.
