Sonnet Sundays: A Rare and Precious Rose

Image
Fatigued by the bombardment of the world’s lies Seeking refuge in the green fields of your eyes When we’re apart, I dream of only one place Without a doubt, it's found in your warm embrace Our destiny was definitely not fate Deep in my heart, I knew you were my soulmate It’s very rare that I have cried in my life But I did when you walked down to be my wife Overtaken by the sight of your beauty To love you forever, my only duty I’ll never give you reason for disbelief No one is worthy to cause you such grief Looking to the future instead of the past Only to love you until I breathe my last Eternally grateful, I’m the one you chose You're like a rare and precious rose

BLOG 1: Are You Getting Excited, I am!!!

Are you ready? No, I asked you a question. Are you ready? I figured out the next state of the game, besides writing it on YouTube! I'll do it twice a month, on the first and the fifteenth. That way, the first will be talking about the previous month's Tales from the `13th, and the Sunday Sonnets there. We can also answer any questions that you might have about Character Corner. I'm excited to be setting this up and pray that you find the amusement I'll be adding, as I'm naturally sarcastic.  I'm attempting to grow this at home, and with that, I need your help. Please read my posts first; that would be a great help. Share on Facebook, Instagram, and anything else you can. We need to get the work out there to as many people as possible. If reading isn't your thing, donating money to the links below also helps a great deal and gives you early access to the items. So, on July 1st, I'll go live on YouTube, and yes, it'll be a face reveal. Amen and ...

Sonnet Sunday: Till Morning Comes Again

Mysterious eyes pierce through the night Just a little blood will do all right A savage hunger rips at his soul The reaper's bell will begin to toll Can’t lose the craving from this death thirst Another fresh night just like the first Must find someone guilty of a crime So, he can cut them down in their prime His weightless body flies through the air Dressed all in black without any flair Looking for the monsters where they stand Sending them all to the promised land To all his victims, the night is dire With his thirst quenched, there stands the vampire Triumphant, he lives another night But tomorrow starts another plight

Tales from the 13th: A Night on the Town

A Night on the Town              Chas Colvin sat up on the ledge of the Astor building, his stomach cramping so badly that it made PMS look like a field day. The figure hadn't fed for days. It was so bad that his body was so starved that it was eating away at itself. His once handsome face was now pulled back, giving it a terrible facelift look. The long blonde hair flowed in the wind as he waited for some prey to arrive. He didn't care at this juncture if they were sinful or not. The only thing that mattered to him was first quenching this insatiable thirst that all vampires felt when they went too long without blood. He wrapped his arms around his stomach, trying to ease the pain. Trying to be good, the vampire fed only when he needed to, as well as in small amounts. But this only gave him some relief.  Sadly, he now required human blood, and that meant it had to be immediately. The hunger grew unbearable, so bad that he...

A State of Phobia

What’s the difference between right and wrong That’s the reason so many write a song Spewing your venom with the words you say To hurt a person any time of day The choice is theirs to make and theirs alone So, join the bash wagon, you carbon clone   Rivers of tears shed by the mourning one Are you that damn tough by what you’ve done A closet closed mind is easy to keep Protect the people, the little white sheep Never understanding just what is right Freedom of expression will have the might   It shouldn’t matter if they’re gay or straight Bi or trans, why do they deserve your hate Who the hell cares if they’re a garden gnome Just worry about what lies in your home We should be celebrating what’s unique Because who the hell are you to critique
